At Burnside Distribution Corp. (BDC), our passion for music and our fondness to help musicians and independent labels has grown into a full-fledged distribution company, with BDC selling to both regional and national one-stops and the entire music retail account base from mom & pops to the national chains. We are a full-service distribution company with a national presence.

Our company is committed to excellence. We have developed a submission policy that works quite well for us. Our three owners listen to every CD submitted to BDC and vote on them. When approved, we pick up new titles and labels and work our hardest to spread the joy of music to the consumer, through our retail outlets.

To help us better serve you, we would like to introduce you to our submission policy, so you can understand how to obtain distribution through BDC.

First off, please send a promo CD of your release (or a promo copy of each release, if you are submitting an entire label catalog for distribution) with a one sheet, press pack, any radio play information, and tour dates to:

A press pack is a bio, a photo of your artist/band, and press clippings (reviews, interviews, show previews) put together in presentation form to inform others unfamiliar with what you are doing to what you are all about.

Please note, to submit your CD to us, you must have a one sheet. Please see our industry standard one sheet example at to better understand what information a one sheet must contain. Also, all CDs accepted for distribution must have a bar code with a working UPC number. A UPC # (as seen on any bar code) is a twelve digit code that record stores use to input your CD into their computers. Without this number, we will not be able to sell your CD, as our accounts will not be able to enter you into their respective systems to buy the CD.

Also, when submitting your CD to Burnside Distribution Corporation, please give us your distribution history, including past distributors and current distributors, if any. List what distributors you are currently using and what regions they are covering, including where they are based.

After submitting your CD, we will contact you if/when your CD has been accepted.

Here is a re-cap of our submission policy:

1. Send CD ATTN: SUBMISSIONS to address above.
2. Including one sheet, press pack, radio spins, and any tour dates.
3. REMEMBER - You MUST include a one sheet (one sheet example here) with CD in order for us to consider you.
4. CD Must have a UPC# for us to distribute you.
5. Including distribution history - past and present distribution (names / location)
6. After our three-man board has reviewed your CD we will contact you if BDC has accepted your CD/label for distribution.
